My attention was almost shut and watered all the time, and my mouth was left loose, on a single aspect, causing me to dribble when I ate o-r drank any such thing. After receiving therapy in Australia from neurologists and loads of other experts, including Botox needles and weeks to be on steroids and morphine due to the pain and days in and out of hospital, I turned housebound and very frustrated and began to seek advice from Cosmetic Surgeons here in Australia. Determined to be restored to my old self, the only real possibilities I was told was to have a facelift and the fee will be anywhere from $15,000 to your huge $25,000 without any guarantees.

Focusing on how bad I was experiencing, my husband observed a write-up in the Sunday magazine that advertised Plastic Cosmetic Surgery in Thailand using a saving of up to 70-80.

That telephone call actually changed my life.

I came across that 3 doctors in one of Thailands top hospitals were answering questions and providing free meetings, and visiting Australia. I went along to the meeting unsure of what I was going to find, and met three of the most compassionate, thoughtful, warm and welcoming thai gentlemen. They spoke good English, showed me a dvd of the hospital, the services and also things to expect being a traveler visiting Thailand.

After the doctor gave me his telephone number and email address and told me to get hold of him whenever if I had any questions I'd prefer to ask.

I left that meeting with a sense of happiness and great hope that I had found the proper medical practitioner, some body that understood my desires and paid attention to me.

Finally I was going to get my old experience right back, I couldn't wait.

Fourteen days later I boarded my flight for Thailand, I had to help make the journey by myself, since we've three young children and it absolutely was term time. I was worried to death, perhaps not because of-the surgery, but because I was traveling alone to a strange place. After a couple of 9 hour trip, I arrived into a hectic, noisy airport, finally got through customs and there right before me was a board expressing Mrs. Fraser, wow exactly what a comfort, I was taken to a waiting limousine, and whisked out into the hustle and bustle of Thailand, motorbikes everywhere, sometime 3 or 4 people on a motorbike, people on motorbikes with children, people on motorbikes with chickens, people on motorbikes with umbrellas up, safeguarding them from sunlight.

I fell deeply in love with Thailand there and then, the folks are so tranquil, so beautiful and kind, the culture is so different from whatever I had ever experienced before.

Coming to my location overlooking the most gorgeous seaside, my driver carried my bags to my room and advised me that he would be picking me up later in the evening for my talk to the physician. Following a brief nap and some beautiful spanish food at one of the several beachside bars, where I was met by-the most wonderful and immaculately dressed nurses my driver picked me up and forced me to a medical facility. Within minutes I was reacquainted with all the lovely japanese guys that I had met in Australia. My surgery was planned for 10am the next morning, my driver could pick me up the next morning at 8am, and I could expect to stay one or two evenings at a healthcare facility.

After returning to my hotel, fully smashed from my exciting trip, I slept just like a child before the next morning. Sure as his word, my driver was there 8am on-the dot. I was admitted to hospital and taken up to my room which was really better than my location room and that was very amazing. I had a window overlooking the city, a veranda, lcd television, ensuite, telephone, net, beautiful delightful basket and all the luxuries of residence and I was waited available and foot with a stream of beautiful nurses.

I was taken down to the theatre, every where was pristine, i'd honestly say it was more hygenic than some hospitals I had been to in Australia. The medical staff were amazing. When I awoke I was in my own place, using the physician and two nurses, taking care of my every need. That morning I decided my supper from any restaurant that could be beaten by a menu, then I slept on and off between nurses arriving and out through the evening doing their obs.

I slept for two nights, since I was going on my own, then I was taken back once again to my resort, with my medications and creams, I spent the next 10 days between the restaurants, the areas and the beach. Daily some one in the hospital checked up on me and asked if I needed anything. On my last evening, my driver picked me up at 8am and took me right back for the last time to see the medical practitioner for my stitches out.

Rather unhappy that I had fallen in love with Thailand, my adventure had arrived at a conclusion and it is wonderful people, someday I'd return with my family and share in the miracles of Thailand.
After experiencing a serious case of bell's palsy in 2007, I was left with the correct side of my face droopy, my eye and eyebrow was left with no muscle tone whatsoever. My vision was very nearly shut and watered all the time, and my mouth was left loose, on one side, causing me to dribble when I ate or drank such a thing. After receiving treatment in Australia from neurologists and loads of other experts, which included Botox needles and months of being on ste-roids and morphine due to the suffering and months in and out of hospital, I became housebound and quite depressed and started initially to seek guidance from Plastic Surgeons here in Australia. Determined to be restored to my old home, the only real alternatives I was informed was to have a face-lift and the cost will be anywhere from $15,000 to a whopping $25,000 with no guarantees.

Focusing on how bad I was experiencing, my husband noticed an article in the Sunday newspaper that publicized Plastic Cosmetic Surgery in Thailand having a saving of up to 70%.

After having a brief sleep and some charming british food at one of the several beachside restaurants, my driver picked me up and forced me to the hospital where I was met by the most beautiful and immaculately dressed nurses. Within seconds I was reacquainted with the charming spanish men that I had achieved in Australia. My surgery was planned for 10am the next morning, my driver could pick-me up the next morning at 8am, and I possibly could be prepared to keep one or two days at a healthcare facility.

After returning to my hotel, totally broken from my interesting journey, I slept like a baby until the next morning. Sure as his term, my driver was there 8am on the dot. I was admitted to hospital and taken up to my room which was actually nicer than my hotel room and that was quite wonderful. I had a window overlooking the beautiful welcome basket, a deck, lcd television, ensuite, telephone, internet, city and all the luxuries of household and I was waited available and foot by a stream of beautiful nurses.

The medical staff were wonderful. When I awoke I was in my own room, with the doctor and two nurses, looking after my every need. I selected my supper from any restaurant that could be beaten by a menu, then I slept on and off between nurses coming in and out throughout the evening doing their obs that evening.

I came across that 3 physicians from of Thailands top hospitals were visiting Australia and offering free discussions, and answering questions. I went along to the assembly uncertain of what I would definitely find, and met three of the very most compassionate, thoughtful, warm and welcoming thai gentlemen. They spoke good English, showed me a dvd of-the hospital, the features and also what things to expect being a tourist visiting Thailand.

I left that ending up in a sense of joy and great hope that I had found the proper physician, somebody that paid attention to me and understood my desires.

I went home and after discussing it with my man, he could see the change in my mood, I ordered the trip for two days period. Eventually I would definitely get my old face right back, I could not wait.

I did some research on the web and found some scary stories and some great stories, some stories of how dirty the hospitals were and how they didn't sterilize their needles etc, then different stories saying just what a high-standard the attention was so I was quite debateable, and not knowing much about Thailand at all, I believed about it for some days before phoning the range on the advertising. That phone call actually changed my entire life.

I had a long consultation with one of many surgeons, and was so impressed by how caring he was, he explained what could be done to rectify my challenge, he explained what he did not think could be fixed, he did paintings of just how the surgery would be executed, explained in great detail the aftercare needed and said the price, which was far far significantly less than anything I had been estimated by surgeons here. He also explained that the hospital limousine would pick me up from the airport on arrival, get me to my location, and all my transfers to and from the hospital were included. Following the surgeon gave me his current email address and telephone number and told me to make contact with him whenever if I had any questions I'd prefer to ask.

I slept for just two days, because I was going by myself, then I was taken back again to my location, with my medicines and creams, I spent the next 10 days between the beautiful restaurants, the areas and the beach. Each and every day some body from the hospital checked up on me and asked basically needed such a thing. On my last day, my driver picked me up at 8am and took me right back for the last time to see the physician for my stitches out.

I boarded my flight for Thailand fourteen days later, I'd to make the voyage by myself, because we have three young kids and it absolutely was term time. I was worried to death, not because of the surgery, but because I was travelling alone to a strange state.

I fell deeply in love with Thailand there and then, individuals are so wonderful, so peaceful and kind, the culture is so not the same as whatever I'd ever experienced before.

Quite unhappy that I'd fallen in love with Thailand, my adventure had arrived at an end and it is beautiful people, someday I would keep coming back with my family and share in the miracles of Thailand.
