Safetli also said that Mr Medich was known as "the big boss". On September 3, 2009, Safetli and his accomplice Chris Estephan sat outside Mr McGurk's Cremorne home waiting to murder him.

Safetli said they didn't talk about murder plans but instead discussed Mr Estephan's girlfriend troubles.

He said that when Mr McGurk pulled up in his Mercedes,[http://xupeng.php.mgphpzj.com/xu/home.php?mod=space&uid=238580 ], "in a blink of his eye" Mr Estephan had crossed Cranbrook Avenue to do the murder.

When Safetli was challenged about whether Estephan committed the murder, Safetli said: "You're making this kid out to be an angel, he's not."
