+It's a tiny black puck like all the other tiny black pucks. You need to plug two cables into it, tops. It's stupid simple, and yet with its slightly rounded, upturned edges, the Roku 3 manages to look slii-iightly cool looking—enough to point out, anyway. The purple tag is still cute.
+But really, this is a tiny charcoal puck you're going to put next to your TV and probably forget is even in the room with you. Which is exactly what you want.
+Using It
+It's the same old puck on the outside, the same shade of black, the same gloss, the same size, the same old remote in your hand, and the same hardware features—ethernet, USB input,[http://hummerbox.ru/node/20505 Four face death for 'cold], 1080p output, etc.—as ever. And it streams all the same old channels—all 700ish of them. None of that matters.
+What matters is a completely hatcheted-apart, lovingly rebuilt interface with virtually no resemblance to what came before it.

+ Now there's a grid. It's a lot like Apple TV's grid, only a lot more thought has been poured into it. There's not just a grid—you'll always have two chunks of visual information in front of you. Maybe it'll be a grid view of your saved channels—nine visible at a time—with options like Search and Settings to the left.
+Or if you go to add new channels, you'll have a list of categories on the left (Sports, News, etc) and the channels that belong to those categories on the right. Everything flows so smoothly that it never takes more than a few clicks or pushes of the directional buttons to do anything you want to do, and it's always clear what part of the interface pushed you to another part. You'll rarely get lost. You'll know where to find your stuff. And you'll probably end up watching more enjoyable stuff because it's easier to find.SLikeRoku beat Google TV without even trying. The new interface makes the prospect of navigating hundreds of channels—thousands and thousands of shows and movies—a non-nightmare. It makes streaming music on Spotify or Pandora a cinch, without horrendous Android app residues.And lo: for the first time, search on a TV isn't a convoluted horror. Gone are the confusing duplicate results of Google TV. Type in something you want to watch, and if one of the Roku channels you use has it, it'll be listed. You're not flashbanged with options. +It s a departure from most Royals seasons where the team starts low and stays low. This year, there have been peaks and valleys nearly all season.
+The low point was their 23-32 mark on June 4. Since, they ve clawed back to .500 at 34-34 and promptly dropped four straight after. They didn t get back to .500 until game 102 on July 28 after a stretch that took them from entertaining offers for  to looking to add pieces. Since July 28, they ve been at .500 or better, but still had a mini-collapse that took them from 62-54 back down to 64-64.

Another brewery, Odd 13, opened three weeks later and by the end of the year one more is expected to open. ( | )On the eastern fringe of Boulder County, a town that just months ago was thirsting for craft beer can now raise a glass of lemon wheat beer or Eric the Red.
+Two breweries with taprooms opened within two weeks of each other this summer in Lafayette, a funky and eclectic town of 26,000. And by year's end they'll be joined by another brewery/restaurant featuring a head brewer from a famously off-centered East Coast brewery.
+"It is just a huge phenomenon that is now happening in our little corner of the world," said Vicki Trumbo, executive director of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. "People are talking more about these breweries coming in than any other industry in the past few years."
+Front Range Brewing Co. +Front Range Brewing is a dream turned reality for 37-year-old Chris Dutton, who quit his IT job to open the seven-barrel brewery in the Lafayette Marketplace with used and repurposed equipment.
+"This is just one of those places that didn't have any craft-beer breweries, and people had a thirst," Dutton said.
+Dutton, a homebrewer for several years, is focusing on experimental brews, including barrel-aged beers, and will also have some mainstays.
+"You have to do that delicate balance," he said, "of brewing what you want and doing business."
+A recent lineup featured a farmhouse ale, blonde,[http://democratia-online.ro/ Fourth porn actor tests HIV], IPA, wheat, imperial milk stout and lemon wheat beer. But his other concoctions sound very interesting, including a joint effort with  for a sweet-potato brown ale.
+Odd 13 owner and head brewer Ryan Scott also was a home brewer for several years. He hopes to pattern his 10-barrel system after California's hugely successful Russian River Brewing Co., with American-style hoppy beers next to Belgians and sours.

+A few blocks away, Post Brewing Co. is under construction in the former Veterans of Foreign Wars Mile High Post. It will be a 15-barrel brewery and chicken joint under the The Big Red F Restaurant Group's banner, which also owns and operates Jax Fish Houses, Lola in Denver and the West End Tavern in Boulder. The main chef will be Brett Smith, who is now at Zolo in Boulder.
+The head brewer will be Bryan Selders, formerly head brewer at Delaware's famed Dogfish Head Brewery, where he worked for nine years before quitting in 2011 to explore graphic arts.
