The lawsuits alleged that Penn State did not successfully put a stop to Sandusky's behavior. The former coach was convicted in June 2012 of 45 counts of sexual abuse and sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison.

During his father's trial, Matt Sandusky told the prosecution that he was abused and willing to testify. He later became the final person to sue Penn State.

Attorneys Joel Feller and Matt Casey represented Matt Sandusky and six other victims, and announced the finalization of the settlements.

Michael Rozen, an attorney hired by Penn State to help with negotiations, told ABC News the university attempted to settle with all the accusers at the same time.

He told ABC News the accusers were separated into three groups��those who claimed abuse before 1998, between 1998 and 2001, and after 2001. The periods coincided with when Sandusky's behavior was brought to Penn State's attention.
