He was ordered to have no contact with the victim or witnesses at the shooting.Following morning jury selection, opening arguments got underway about 1:30 p.m.According to assistant prosecutor Cheri Stout, on the night of the shooting, Stroder accompanied Brendon Jeffrey, also of Springfield, to Xenia High School to see a girl s basketball game.Jeffrey was originally indicted on the same charges in December 2012, but charged were dropped March 20.Jeffrey is the former boyfriend of young woman who plays on the XHS girl s team.At the game, Jeffrey reportedly exchanged words and harsh looks with the girl s brothers,[Nike http://www.nfljerseysfor2013.com/nfl-jerseys-new-york-giants-c-598_657], who were also at the game, which ended up in a fight in the high school parking lot.According to Stroder s defense attorney Brock Schoenlein, Stroder admits to bringing the revolver with him to the game, but leaving it in Jeffrey s vehicle during the game.In a split second decision, Stroder,[http://podroz.ru/index.php/U%C5%BCytkownik:Lvicdndaics#NASCAR_suspends_use_of_aerial_camera_systems NASCAR suspends use of aerial camera systems], who was not involved in the fight,[New http://www.nfljerseysfor2013.com/], reportedly grabbed the gun from inside Jeffrey s car and fired a revolver into the air to break up the fight. He and Jeffrey then fled the scene. In his opening arguments, Schoenlein said he will prove that Stroder acted in self-defense and was attempting to stop the onslaught of violence against Jeffrey.Testimony and deliberation continued Tuesday.</body></html> | ||
