We found cheap houses for sale all around the country. I and my spouse Ana were on a drive round the country. It was a holiday, but we looked over houses too, and bought one in a great little town in the hills of western Montana. It cost $17,500, and we lived there for many months before attempting to sell it for $28,000, after $2000 to fix it up. We liked Anaconda. Where else is it possible to fly fish, head to a three-dollar movie in a old art-deco theatre (the 5th most beautiful in the country, in line with the Smithsonian), drop some nickles in a video slot, eat at a good restaurant, stop by the club for a money beer, and buy a home for under $30,000 - all within a four-block area! You can find good schools and churches, a collection with fast websites, and wildlife (including bears) a few hundred yards from downtown. Why Exist Cheap Houses Available? There are cheap homes in Anaconda, and regional Butte since there aren't many good jobs. I easily found careers in Anaconda - however not good ones. As we ate, we looked up the empty street and realized that all the buildings were boarded-up. This was a dying village, with nothing to aid revive it. After our Montana knowledge, we started a website about them. What does a community need to be able to make our number? The requirements are truly subjective, but include at the least the following: 1. Populace of 4,000 to 80,000. 2. Decent collection. 3. Great grocery store. 4. Cinema. 5. At the very least six houses on the market under $50,000. 6. Town includes a great &quot;feel&quot; to it. After much research, we found a number of towns that met our requirements, including some with houses for under $30,000. There are really wonderful villages out there where you can find cheap houses for sale.
