== 87ers acquire rights to 16 players in expansion draft ==

<html>The 87ers announced today that they have acquired the NBA Development League rights to 16 players via the NBA D-League Expansion Draft held on Wednesday.

All 16 returning 2012-13 NBA D-League teams were able to protect the rights to 12 players per team.? The expansion Sevens were able to select from that allotment of unprotected players, with no more than two selections from any NBA D-League team.

Of the 16 players selected by the Sevens, seven have played in the NBA. Below is a list of the players:
