As Capitol Hill gentrifies, trendy new restaurants and bars are popping up on every corner.? In other words, for as much as we say we love the Egyptian, we didn t fill enough seats to keep it in business.

During the July 1 meeting, the council passed a bill in the consent agenda that sent an official intent to annex the Klahanie PAA to the Council Land Shore Committee for review.
Contained within the agenda bill is the administration’s recommendation for adopting the resolution and mentions a later-than-expected date for a prospective vote.

PAHs are in smoke from incomplete combustion, so if you can taste smoke on your food, expect it contains those chemicals. As for fried meat, using the right type of cooking oil might reduce any carcinogenic problems already going on in the cooking. Frying oil or fat should have a high smoke point.Peanut oil is the best for deep-frying because it does not break down into trans-fats in high heat. However, eating fried food is not recommended.

The known fact is, PAH��s and HCA��s definitively causes cancer in humans but scientist really cannot calculate the amount that would lead to cancer. 

Consequently, there is no established exposure limit because the genetic damage that leads to cancer is highly complex and affected by other external factors. 

Preventively, reducing your exposure to carcinogenic chemicals is advised.</html>

== Lawrence resident is world air guitar champ ==

<html>Eric “Mean Melin” Melin booked a last-minute flight to Finland on a prayer — make that an air prayer.

And the air guitar gods must have heard it. Lawrence’s meanest air guitar-playing machine became the newest World Air Guitar Champion today.

After coming in  Saturday in Los Angeles, Melin hadn’t actually qualified to compete at the World Air Guitar Championships in Oulu, Finland. 

But, fortunately for Melin, in the sport-slash-performance-art known as air guitar, there’s this little thing called a Dark Horse round. (Of course.)

This qualifying event on the eve of the championship offered a way into the finals for its top finishers. Melin knew it was a long shot, but felt like he had to go for it.

“There’s also something addictive about hope," Melin wrote . "It keeps you going."

With a little funding from “Mean Melin” T-shirts that supporters have been buying online, and encouragement from his girlfriend and other air guitar players — including San Diego’s Jason "Lt. This was supposed to be Melin’s last year competing in air guitar. He’d played at the  four previous years without a victory — which, he said in an interview earlier this month, seemed like a sign it might be time to hang up his virtual guitar.

Looking to make the most of his presumed swan song, Melin started planning his routine way back in November.
