== JUNEAU, Alaska- Sitka Coast Guardsman sentenced to 18 months == <html>JUNEAU, Alaska A U.S. Coast Guardsman stationed in Sitka has been found guilty of making false official statements and for crimes related to child pornography. The Juneau Empire reports (http://bit.ly/18HMVlf) Petty Officer 2nd Class James M. Grover was sentenced to 18 months of confinement during a court-martial Saturday in Juneau. The 30-year-old Grover faced nine counts of violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He admitted to a military judge that he downloaded hundreds of images and videos of child pornography to his personal computer while at Air Station Sitka. The judge also ordered Grover, who must register as a sex offender,[http://www.shuxiangw.com/plus/view.php?aid=253550 How You Can Advertise Your Blog],[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Reds-27-Clark-White-Sleevesless-Jerseys-583/ Reds 27 Clark White Sleevesless Jerseys],[http://cgi.tako.ne.jp/~friends/bbs3/light.cgi?res=13734 Self-Publishing What It is advisable to Learn abo], be dishonorably discharged and forfeit his pay. The National Marine Fisheries Service announced Tuesday that it has rejected listing ribbon seals as a threatened or endangered species despite evidence that its habitat is impacted by climate change. Ribbon seals are found in the Bering and Chukchi seas off Alaska and in the Sea of Okhotsk off Russia. They are not in danger of disappearing under the time limits required for listing in the Endangered Species Act, a spokeswoman for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said. "NOAA's status review concluded that the anticipated threats to ribbon seals, primarily from reductions in sea ice and disrupted prey communities,[http://www.daijingu.jp/keijiban/bbs/light.cgi?res=74482 Standard Business Blog Suggestions], will result in a gradual decline in ribbon seal population abundance,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Michigan-Wolverines-2-Woodson-blue-Jerseys-2935/ Michigan Wolverines 2 Woodson blue Jerseys]," said Julie Speegle in the announcement. "However, this decline is not expected to render the species in danger of extinction within the foreseeable future." The agency also rejected a listing for ribbon seals in December 2008. Attorney Rebecca Noblin of the Center for Biological Diversity, which with Greenpeace sued for reconsideration, said the agency acknowledges that the seals could be in serious trouble in the Sea of Okhotsk. Continued sea ice loss also threatens them in the Bering Sea, she said. "We disagreed that loss of sea ice in the Bering Sea is not going to be a problem in the foreseeable future," she said. "We think the sea ice models show that ribbon seals are losing sea ice at critical times in the spring." Federal biologists estimate the ribbon seal population at 200,000 to 300,000. During summer and fall, ribbon seals live entirely in the water,[http://cgi.tako.ne.jp/~friends/bbs3/light.cgi?res=8483%2520zumba%2520fitness%2520dvd%2520http Fast Internet Marketing to Earn Income Over the In],[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Thunder-0-Westbrook-Black-Fashion-Jerseys-31041/ Thunder 0 Westbrook Black Fashion Jerseys], foraging on fish, squid and crustaceans. From March through June, the seals use loose pack ice for pupping and molting and as a platform for foraging. Ribbon seals give birth and nurse pups, which cannot swim, exclusively on sea ice. Newborn ribbon seals have a coat of soft, white hair called lanugo that provides insulation until they grow a thick layer of blubber. Pups can survive submersion in icy water only after growing a blubber layer. During molting, new hair can only grow when ribbon seals are out of the water where skin can reach higher temperatures. NOAA Fisheries in December added two other ice-dependent seals to the threatened species list ringed seals, the main prey of polar bears, and bearded seals, which give birth and rear pups on pack ice drifting over shallow water where crab and other prey is abundant. Jon Kurland, NOAA Fisheries' assistant regional administrator for protected resources, said each species of ice-associated seal has different habitat requirements. "Ribbon seals are fairly adaptable," he said in the announcement. "Their diet is diverse,[http://www.gfaidsboe.com/WBOARD/viewthread.php?tid=302297&extra= Social Media Dynamics and Guidelines], they feed over a wide range of depths, and there is evidence that they may compensate for changes in sea ice by moving to other habitats in which they are still able to feed and reproduce, in contrast to ringed and bearded seals which are more specialized and are not expected to do as well with changes in sea ice." A spokesman for the state of Alaska, Doug Vincent-Lang, said the state applauds the decision. "This decision begins to bring some rationality to the recent misapplication of the ESA that has resulted in the precautionary listing of currently abundant and robust species based on speculated and unproven climate related impacts over century timeframes," he said by email. "We stand ready to assist the NMFS in defense of this decision if it is challenged."</html> == ANCHORAGE- 1 dead, 2 hurt in East Anchorage pickup rollover == <html>ANCHORAGE A 32-year-old woman was killed and two others hurt, one badly, in a single-vehicle accident in East Anchorage early Friday,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Nike-Dolphins-91-Wake-Blue-Women-Game-Jerseys-20274/ Nike Dolphins 91 Wake Blue Women Game Jerseys],[http://park7.wakwak.com/~nymidi/cgi-bin/Y1dicPbUXGVlxwg5TR4vX/light.cgi?res=488 4 Key Reasons Why Articles Are The Best SEO Tools], Anchorage police said. "I was breaking down in tears," said East pitcher Sydney Smith. "I love the game so much, I was crying." Smith pitched a complete game in the championship, a 10-2 win over Lathrop at Cartee Fields, where East had to beat The Malemutes twice to claim the crown Saturday. Both teams started the day undefeated,[http://nigari.info/cgi-bin/akane/joyful.cgi?page=0%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520Re How effective is SEO], with the tournament's double-elimination format pitting them against each other in the morning. The Thunderbirds (26-0) prevailed 6-5 in the early game to advance to the championship. Lathrop (21-2) dropped into the losers bracket, where it beat Juneau 7-6 to earn another shot at East. To win it all, Lathrop needed to beat East twice consecutively in the afternoon, but that scenario became all but moot in the bottom of the fourth inning,[http://www.frbiz.com/products/j-37177487/ipad_cover_cgi_005.html A Few Recommendations On Losing Weight], when East erupted for seven runs. The rally, highlighted by a three-run double from Taria Page, turned a 2-2 tie into a 9-2 East advantage. East had already taken a 3-2 lead when the imposing Page stepped to the plate with the bases loaded. Page already had one hit to show for two scorching grounders in her previous two at-bats, and she gave East a 6-2 lead when she ripped another hard grounder up the middle that rolled all the way to the center-field fence before anyone from Lathrop could get a hand on it. Morgan Hill, Carrie Sauerbrey and Smith all drove in runs to complete the outburst. Page drew a walk in her next at-bat and came around to score on a single from Hill in the bottom of the sixth, bringing a mercy rule into effect and ending the game. "After the first game we played with them, it was really nerve-wracking," Sauerbrey said. "Everyone's emotions were just nervous and excited." Sauerbrey and Marissa Davidson were the only seniors on a team with four freshmen, five sophomores and two juniors, so playing their last game with the Thunderbirds contributed to an emotional day. "This is a young team and they are gonna go far in the next two or three years," Davidson said. "We just knew that we wanted to come undefeated and we have a lot of strong players. We have faith in our team, that's what it comes down to." East coach Paul Schoenborn showed faith in his offense's ability to score when he told Smith to intentionally walk in a tying run in the third inning. East led 1-0 in the top of the third when Lathrop loaded the bases with no outs and Kacey Duffield coming to the plate. Duffield had already been intentionally walked in her first at-bat and East didn't hesitate to walk her again. "Paul, he knows what he's talking about," Smith said. "Kacey is a big hitter, so I knew if we walked her,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/MLB-Size-Caps-006-10622/ MLB Size Caps-006], we'd be able to get the next couple outs. I wasn't really worried about it, 'cause I trust him." Duffield's walk brought Yvonne Sam home to tie the score at 1-1, and a hit from Salena Maxwell brought in another run to give the Malemutes a 2-1 lead. The lead was short-lived. East bounced right back to tie it at 2-2 on an RBI-double from Hill in the bottom of the third. "East Anchorage, they're not defending state champion for no reason, they're a classy, tough team,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/2011-2012-Club-Manchester-United-14-Chicharito-red-Jerseys-7879/ 2011-2012 Club Manchester United 14 Chicharito red Jerseys]," Lathrop coach Bill Duffield said. East was the only team to notch wins against Lathrop, which came into the state tournament on a 20-game winning streak and had won the Railbelt Conference for the first time in school history. "I just can't be more proud of a group of girls," Bill Duffield said. "We were thinking about a conference and a state championship and we got one out of the two. I can't complain about that." Four-peat for Sitka Sitka didn't run into many obstacles on its way to a fourth straight small-schools softball championship, at least not until Ketchikan made things tough on the Wolves in Saturday's championship game at Cartee Fields. Sitka (20-4), which won by at least four runs in its three previous tournament games,[http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~h-tanaka/apri/i/bbs/bbs.cgi?res=2737 Good old ram in addition to Computer], escaped with a 7-6 win in the title game, breaking a 6-6 tie with a run in the seventh and final inning. The win was Sitka's second over Ketchikan (16-7) on Saturday. The Wolves won a morning game 12-8 to send Ketchikan to the losers bracket, but the Kings stayed alive with a 9-0 thumping of Homer. Had Ketchikan found a way to beat Sitka in the championship game, an if-necessary game would have ensued to determine a champion. Sitka's championship run also included a 13-5 win over Kodiak in the first round, a 16-1 win over Eielson. The Wolves, who also won a state title in 2005, have reached the small-school state title game for five straight seasons. David DiBenedetto, Editor in Chief of Garden Gun magazine, agrees. Says DiBenedetto, "Charleston has the perfect trifecta these days. From the shopping on King Street to a world class restaurant scene, to pristine beaches just minutes away,[http://cgi.members.interq.or.jp/black/siva/bbs06172007/epad.cgi?res=3807 Organization ownership is filled with dangers and], there's really something here for everyone." While a bit pricier than other nearby tourist destinations, the city does offer its share of bargains. Pack your itinerary with these penny-pinching tips to score savvy savings during your next visit. Activities: Shop the historic downtown Charleston City Market while watching local Gullah cultural demonstrations of grass weaving by a number of merchants. The resulting baskets and bowls make a relevant souvenir purchase, and you get to enjoy a free art demo as a bonus. Other fun and frugal souvenirs available at this shopping venue include regional cookbooks and traditional spice blends. Charleston's downtown historic district offers architecture galore for those who enjoy exploring by foot. Be sure to pick up a downtown walking map at the visitor center, or from your hotel's concierge. The brochure contains an easy-to-read street graphic highlighted with buildings of note. An indexed list of building descriptions and brief histories is included, making for an easy and free afternoon's worth of entertainment. Those looking for something cultural to do after the sun goes down will want to make their way to The Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theater. While you'll certainly pay more than you would to go see a movie, it's a casual activity that gives young adults a hands-on reason to get excited about live performances. Adult tickets ring in at $24 each, while those for children less than 12 are available for a reduced price of $15. Thirsty theater fans can score $5 wine pours, $2 flavored teas or bottled water for a buck. Snack options include $5 chips and salsa, $6 cheesecake and $2 orders of peanuts. Drayton Hall, a vintage plantation home, offers a realistic peek at the decorating and logistical realities of the time period. The grounds are available for exploring as well. It's of note that this particular property makes a point of keeping things authentic and a bit austere, making it more of a draw for die-hard history buffs than for families more used to theme park activities. The venue is also home to one of the oldest known African-American cemeteries in the country, which is still in use. Full-price tickets for a family of four can total up to $52. Those seeking savings should opt for the family package, which provides $39 entry for two adults and two children, including access to all daily tours. While Drayton Hall is all about the original structures, Middleton Place is all about the gardens and farm life demonstrations performed in period costumes. This will allow you to experience all the venue has to offer, grab an abundance of souvenir photo ops, and take the time to relax with a book by the river if you so desire. A number of guided tours are included with your entry ticket, and exploring the antique gardens alone will take quite a bit of time. Appetites: Middleton Place also offers a lunch menu suitable for both sustenance and relaxation between estate activities. It makes for an affordable splurge if packing a picnic isn't on your agenda. Fun and affordable picks include their $7 crab soup and $9 ham and egg farmer's salad. If you're in the downtown area and want to score an affordable seafood experience, make your way to the Charleston Crab House. The majority of their appetizers are priced well below $10, including such treats as the house crab dip,[http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~h-tanaka/apri/i/bbs/bbs.cgi?res=21798 4 Things That SEO Cannot Compensate], fried green tomatoes, buffalo oysters and crispy calamari. Hidden away amongst the warehouses on King Street is an edgy little food secret called Butcher Bee. A favored hangout of restaurant employees throughout the city, it features sexy sandwiches, sturdy sides and succulent treats ranging from $7 to $12. The atmosphere is casual with both carnivorous and vegan options worked into the menu, which changes daily. And many students borrow (occasionally heavily) to meet the expense—including some who have no immediate hope of repayment after graduation. With government college loan rates potentially set to reset higher in July, this has ignited fears of a potential debt-drag on US economic growth. Yet, given some perspective, these fears seem very unwarranted from a market and economic impact point of view. The issue at hand seems to be the scheduled July 1,[http://cgi.tako.ne.jp/~friends/bbs3/light.cgi?res=9034 What Is Article Marketing Content Publishing Fund], 2013 expiration of 2007 legislation that gradually reduced student loan rates. If nothing changes, rates would double from 3.4 percent to 6.8 percent. Student loan delinquencies already exceed credit cards, and some fear the rise would crush recent college graduates. Higher rates would clearly impact the students and graduates involved. Yet the student loan market is government-guarantee dominated—there's very little private sector exposure here. In fact,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Nike-Ravens-81-Boldin-black-limited-2013-Super-Bowl-XLVII-Jersey-29155/ Nike Ravens 81 Boldin black limited 2013 Super Bowl XLVII Jersey], the government is currently originating roughly 93 percent of overall student loans, up from 77 percent prior to 2008. So for inherently private sector stocks and markets,[http://you-group.fte.jp/cgi-bin/tetu/light.cgi?res=120362%252B%25255BPLM=0%25255D%252BGET%252B How to Select a Professional Web Design Company In], the direct effect is minimal at best. Another reason the effect is minimal is only would be impacted. The affected rates are only on —issued after July 1, 2012. Preexisting loan rates are unaffected. But this all assumes July 1 comes and rates shoot higher. And that’s a speculative bet at best. Just last year, Congress faced the on this exact topic—a looming automatic rate hike on July 1. Yet, when push came to shove, a last-minute extension was passed on June 29. Hence, it seems there’s plenty of time to figure out a deal before the automatic rate increase occurs, particularly given Congress's penchant for last minute can-kicking. And talks are already underway. Many and varied versions of bills circulating Capitol Hill presently seek to forestall the rate doubling. are getting little attention and stand next-to-no chance of passing. Other bills with broader support seek to extend current rates. Still others, like a , tie rates to 10-year bond yields plus a spread. That's similar to a proposal in President Obama's budget, though the spread and terms differ. There's currently ample time and political will to prevent this student-loan-fiscal rock climb. And importantly, while many may unfortunately carry student loan debt, the unemployment rate for those is presently 3.9%, down from its recent cyclical peak of 5.1%. Hence, the number of folks with a degree, too much debt and no job is seemingly a small share of total borrowers. Last year, when the extension passed,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Cardinals-11-Fitzgerald-red-kids-Jerseys-6149/ Cardinals 11 Fitzgerald red kids Jerseys],[http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=350246435893&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT Understand the Importance of Dallas SEO Services a], it was an election year—perhaps a factor in its passing. Yet in a very realistic sense, politicians are nearly always on the campaign trail. We're betting relatively few of them decide they want to look as though they're putting a big squeeze on higher education, and will vote for politically popular proposals pushing out loan rate hikes further. By Todd Bliman, Fisher Investments</html> == Should Investors Consider Using ETFs Instead of Mutual Funds == <html>In a recent issue of Money Forever we looked at when it might be appropriate to consider . The reason being that most mutual funds, even “no-load” funds,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Patriots-85-OchoCinco-blue-kids-Jerseys-6345/ Patriots 85 OchoCinco blue kids Jerseys], are filled with high fees and expense ratios, and even hidden fees, spelled out in 4 point type, of course,[http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140751362926 Directory LInks For Best Ranking], while ETFs are generally pretty straight forward in terms of fee structure. First we’ll look at a chart showing how even small fees can be costly over the long haul. Then we’ll consider whether it’s ever worthwhile to pay these pricey fees for top-performing mutual funds, and show you where to find . I sure hate paying fees,[http://nigari.info/cgi-bin/akane/joyful.cgi?page=0%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520%2520Re Basic Guidelines on How You Can Improve Your Socia], particularly when I’m not getting anything in return, and I bet you feel the same way. A close friend has a bond mutual fund that returned 6% last year, net of fees. The fund effectively returned 7.38%, but fees totaled 1.38%, including a 0.65% management fee. While 1.38% might not sound like a lot, our friend basically paid 18.7% of his return (that’s 1.38% divided by 7.38%) in fees. Now that sounds like real money. And when you look at the compound effect he could be giving up tens of thousands of dollars. How Big of a Difference Does a 0.65% Management Fee Make? To show the effect of the fees, we graphed three lines. The black line shows the growth rate of a $500,000 portfolio at 7.38% per year without any fees. It’s easy to see the magic of compounding here. The gold line depicts the fund growing 7.38% each year, with the 1.38% expense fee subtracted each year. The green line portrays the same growth rate,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Guadalajara-blank-red-white-jerseys-8290/ Guadalajara blank red white jerseys], but without the annual 0.65% management fee. In just 10 years, the difference between the green line and the gold one is $59,703. A part of that difference is the fee itself, and another part is the lost opportunity cost; you can’t reinvest fees you have already paid out. In 20 years, the green line (without a management fee) reaches $1,783,000 that’s $219,894 more than the gold line that includes the annual management fee. While this scenario isn’t exactly the same as the choice between a mutual fund and a lower-fee ETF, the same principle applies. The average mutual fund fee is 0.79% (remember some are lower, but many are higher). In comparison to something like the Schwab US Dividend Equity Fund (SCHD) with a 0.07% fee, that’s a 0.72% difference comparable to this 0.65% example. But surely that 0.65% pays for top level investment management that outperforms the market, right? Let’s look at performance. What About Paying for Performance? You just saw how fees even small fees can dramatically add up over time. So why not just buy mutual funds that have historically performed well? Aren’t the fees worth it for performance? To prove a point, we looked for the ten top-performing mutual funds of 2011 which we found in a Bloomberg article, . We chose 2011 so we could test those funds with full year data for 2012, as if we were just starting the year fresh. Then we asked a simple question. Suppose we were investors in January 2012 deciding to invest in these winners. How would our investments have performed up to the present? The chart above graphs those ten mutual funds against the SPDR S P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), an ETF that mirrors the S P 500. The thick red line represents SPY. From these ten winners, only three have managed to outperform the S P 500 since January 2012: ATRSX; PYSAX; and VLEOX. If recent performance isn’t a good indicator of future performance, what is? If a fund has specific characteristics that appeal to your investment plans then consider choosing it. For example, if a mutual fund has the perfect combination of dividend stocks that you’ve been searching for, then go for it. For example, here’s something we ran across recently: a mutual fund that invests directly in African stocks. Even with an ETF, it’s hard to invest in Africa. This fund’s annual fee was highway robbery something like 2.5% but if you’re really looking for just Africa exposure, it still might be a decent choice. If a certain mutual fund is exactly what you want and there doesn’t appear to be a cheaper alternative, then go for it. However, do not make your choice based on past performance alone. It is more often than not the case that you can find a suitable ETF alternative with very similar holdings and with a fraction of the fees. We recently completed a new report dedicated to comparing mutual funds to ETFs, including you should consider for replacing your expensive mutual funds. We’ve gone after some of the mutual funds most commonly held by individual investors and matched them up against lower fee ETFs with holdings that are nearly identical. But players can begin signing on dotted lines Wednesday. Trades can get NBA approval to become official. Rosters can take shape. There will be changes, but with Wednesday’s whirlwind of transactions, it might no longer be too early to take a close look at the race in the Western Conference. The Rockets’ roster could be tweaked further, but the odds are against widespread changes. Despite center Omer Asik’s displeasure with being demoted to Howard’s backup, the chances are slim there will be a trade partner. The Rockets would need a team that requires a center with Asik’s strengths and style and that has a surplus of power forwards who would improve the Rockets more than Asik does off the bench. They would then have to be able to match salaries. The Rockets could make additional moves,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/NBA-Caps-668-10457/ NBA Caps-668], though their free-agent possibilities at this point will likely depend on someone’s accepting a smaller contract than might be out there elsewhere. Still, the Rockets will be focused on the players they landed rather than those they hope to land. Officially signing Howard will fall several notches down the Rockets’ to-do list. The trades of Thomas Robinson and Royce White will have to be completed first. Those moves will be followed by signing rookie guard Isaiah Canaan, with the Rockets needing to ink him before filling their space so they can do their usual multiyear deal with second-round picks. The Rockets would then sign Omri Casspi and Francisco Garcia before signing Howard to his four-year, $88 million deal. We also discussed the importance of scaling out of open winning trades in two steps, to close initial entries out over time, at key sequential support levels. In this second article, we’ll look at closer technical exit signals for swing trades, with unique examples. Scaling Out Of Downtrending Swing Trades: A Tighter 2-Step Exit Plan In the first article, we looked at both 4- and 8-day support levels as exit signals. To extend that trading strategy, we now look at the special case where a swing trade is starting to exhibit signs of a downtrend, as defined by lower price action compared to a prior day. The goal is to start tightening in trailing stops to lock in gains at the first sign of a trend reversal. In Figure 1 Calpine Corp. (CPN), we see that a downtrend has started to form midday (lower lows, lower highs for the current plus prior day’s price action trend). To exit,[http://www2.toua-u.ac.jp/cgi-bin/bbs/vbbbs.cgi?res=11840 DiamondLinks Link Building Service], we scale out of half the trade if price action gets .35 cents under the cumulative 2-day low (current plus one prior day). For this CPN chart, that would be at (21.5 - .35) = 21.15 as the first scale-out exit. The secondary entry is to be set at a maximum of 1 full point under the cumulative 2-day low, in this case (21.5 – 1.0) = 20.5 for the second,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Flyers-13-Carcillo-Jagr-Orange-Jerseys-18379/ Flyers 13 Carcillo Jagr Orange Jerseys], final exit. Traders often needlessly wait for extremely large drops before scaling out of open winning swing trades, with exits far too low, to lock in significant potential profits. It’s a smart idea to test out various exit signals like those discussed, to start scaling out of open winning swing trades at the first sign of trouble, as illustrated in this chart, with a .35 below 2-day low exit to start exiting the position. A good breakout trader always thinks to themselves “I can start closing out a winning trade here since it’s dropping, however I can always re-enter at new highs later, if it takes them out”. This thinking can help traders gain a more focused edge in their trading, without sacrificing open unrealized profits in their positions as the primary objective. Swingtrading Exits: Head and Shoulders Breakdown Exits It’s wise to become familiar with all bearish reversal patterns, such as head an shoulder patterns,[http://cgi.members.interq.or.jp/rap/takepee/i/epad/epad.cgi?res=75071 7 colors of success in online marketing Italy], and use these to help develop a 2-step scaling out of open winning swing trading plan as well. In Figure 2 Zale Corp. (ZLC) there’s an obvious head-and-shoulders pattern occurring on June 17th and 18th, 2013 on this 15-day candlestick chart. While not a sign to exit immediately, a protective stop can be placed at (9.2 - .35) = 8.85 on an open swing trade, in case it does attract sellers, and the price action drops. Similarly, a 1 point trailing stop under the 2 day low yields a final exit signal at (9.2 – 1) = 8.2 for any remaining open long shares in a swing trade. This 2-step process (.35 under 2-day low for exiting half a swing trade, and 1.0 point under 2-day low for exiting the remaining half of a swing trade) is used whenever there’s a bearish signal, like a downtrend or head-and-shoulders pattern. Similar exits can be used with candlestick chart patterns such as shooting stars and bearish engulfing patterns at the first sign of weakness in the underlying price action of what’s being traded. We’ll look at candlestick chart patterns with 2-exit trading strategies in a subsequent article. Recognizing the Difference Between Trend Reversals vs Minor Pullbacks A favorite saying of experienced professional traders is “when in doubt, get out”. When it comes to trying to decide about exits, and whether or not a trend has reversed or is simply chopping around in a minor pullback,[http://www.daijingu.jp/keijiban/bbs/light.cgi?res=71668 Some Strategies On Search Engine Optimisation], it’s important to decide to exit sooner rather than later. Solid uptrends are generally strong from the start and continue for a healthy distance. Anything less than the best strong trending charts is likely to cause trouble and not be worth trading. Using this 2-day “in vs out” process helps give traders a key decision-making process to use as part of their overall trade management plan. Buying new 2-day highs, and selling 2-day lows (meaning today plus one prior day,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Rams-81-Tory-Holt-white-Jerseys-3046/ Rams 81 Tory Holt white Jerseys], not two days prior to today), is a core professional trading strategy worth testing out. LOUIS Tuesday was an important start for Bud Norris because of multiple reasons. It didn t go well. Norris then declined to answer follow-up questions after speaking postgame with the media for a little more than a minute. The Astros No. 1 starter allowed? 11 hits and seven runs in five innings,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Youth-Nike-Steelers-17-Wallace-black-Jerseys-19897/ Youth Nike Steelers 17 Wallace black Jerseys], falling to 6-8 while his ERA hit 3.63. The seven runs tied Norris season-high (May 13 at Detroit) and set a career high against the Cardinals. He also tweaked his left ankle while making a second-inning pitch to Matt Carpenter during at Busch Stadium. The righthander said his ankle was taped during the game. Asked if it could force him to miss his next start which is to be determined; he isn t scheduled to pitch before the All-Star break Norris said,[http://www.jscxlawyer.com/thread-2319901-1-1.html Improving your Search Engine Rankings], “I don’t know right now.” Twenty-two days remain before the July 31 trade deadline. Norris has been the Astros best overall pitcher this season and general manager Jeff Luhnow backed up the club s No. 1 starter . Major questions remain about Norris future with the Astros, though, and Tuesday s start was his most discouraging outing of the season. “There was a lot going on (Tuesday),[http://www.kozlovka.info/index.php?title=%D0%A3%D1%87%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA:Taylor290#What_is_a_Blue_Chip_Stock- What is a Blue Chip Stock-], Norris said. Harrell s new role Former Astros No. 2 starter Lucas Harrell made his 2013 debut as a reliever, taking over for Norris in the sixth inning and allowing four hits,[http://de-todo-un-poco.mywebcommunity.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=150#150 Choices for Social Media Marketing and Website Des], two runs and two walks in three frames. Harrell said he was initially unsure how many pitches he needed to throw while warming up and relied on his teammates for assistance. It was something new. I kind of warmed up like I was starting a little bit, because I had a little bit of time, he said. It was good. It was a good experience. I just didn t execute (Tuesday). He added: I ve got to pitch better or I m not going to be here. It s just the name of the game. Springer in September? Pregame,[http://www.jerseys-hearts.com/Blackhawks-19-Toews-black-third-jersey-6624/ Blackhawks 19 Toews black third jersey], Luhnow said the organization won t determine for a while whether top prospect George Springer receives a September callup to the majors. Then Springer was Springer. The 23-year-old center fielder went 4-for-5 with two home runs, a triple and five RBIs during Class AAA Oklahoma City s 11-8 road loss to Round Rock on Tuesday. Luhnow on Springer’s future and a possible September promotion to Astros: No option is being ruled off the table. But the original plan was half the year in Corpus Christi and half the year in Oklahoma City. And that’s essentially what happened. We got him through the All-Star break in the Texas League and he will spend the last two months in Oklahoma City, and then we’ll have to make a decision after that time. September, there are a lot of players who are in Triple-A right now who have already been to the big leagues and we need to bring some of them back, and we’re going to need to learn about some other players. It depends on what our objectives are in September … and we’ll know more about that as we get closer. Misc. Shortstop Ronny Cedeno left the game with a contusion on his left big toe. I think he s fine, Astros manager Bo Porter said. Those guys that wear the pads, I always say this: The ball hits everywhere except the pad. Chris Carter (hand) pinch-hit in the ninth inning. Porter said he performed well during batting practice and should be able to play a full game Wednesday.
