Après l'expérience avec [[CW Racing]], [[Cole Wheeler]] n'avait plus vraiment envie de se relancer dans une équipe, surtout après son départ de chez [[E-Vear]] voici deux ans. Contacter par la filiale de [[BMV]] au [[Cinéjeu Island]] en vu d'un projet concernant la nouvelle réglementation du [[CIES]], la marque disposant d'un modèle engager dans un championnat d'endurance aux USA qu'il aurait été facile de l'adapter pour cette catégorie, les réglementations étant assez proche. Après discussions entre [[Cole Wheeler]], [[BMV]] et le préparateur [[Schultz Motorsports]], le triple champion F74 a trouver des partenaires, aussi bien technique que financier et c'est ainsi que débuta l'aventure du '''Wheeler Schultz Motorsports'''.<br >
