Étant fils unique, Antoine s'ennuyait souvent. Alors, un jour son père (Pascal) le fit monter à l'avant de sa voiture et l'emmena sur les petites routes étroites et sinueuses qui peuple la Corse. Ils roulèrent à plus de 100 kilomètres par heures malgré le danger de croiser une voiture et de faire un accident. Antoine en fut très amusé et devint fan de courses automobiles. C'est depuis ce jour qu'il veut « ''devenir le plus grand pilote de courses de tout les temps, même si pour cela je dois risqué de nombreuses fois de me tuer'' ».
